AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I was born at a very early age in Guntersville, Alabama. During my formative years I learned to brush my teeth, tie my shoes and ride a bicycle. I also listened to Elvis records and wore pajamas with little animals on them. Since those days everything else has been pretty much of a blur.

I picked up the guitar soon after graduating from high school and learned enough chords to eke out a living as a musician. Several years down the road I traded one of my guitars and an amp to a crop-duster pilot for flying lessons, eventually swindling my way into the captain’s seat of a Boeing 727. I flew the 727 for more than a decade until I ended up in the cockpit of a Boeing 747, where I’m currently gainfully employed. During that time I also got married, unmarried, and raised my cat Guinness to become a useful and productive member of society.

When I wasn’t busy composing this autobiography I recorded five albums with an eclectic and talented assortment of folks from Gothenburg, Sweden and Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

That pretty much sums up my life. I’ve gotta go now, I need to brush my teeth.
